If there’s one thing that Kate Capshaw’s daughters have in common, it’s an unwavering love for their mother. It seems that, much like her sisters, Sasha Spielberg considers her mother, Kate, among her best friends. Sasha, although dabbling in acting and painting, is mostly dedicated to her music; she formed an indie folk-rock band with her brother when she was younger and sometimes performs as a solo artist under the stage name ‘Buzzy Lee’.
“I didn’t want the Spielberg last name everywhere I went; I wanted to make something of my own,” said Shasha in a 2019 interview. “That’s something I owe to my mother; she’s always instilled a sense of confidence and independence in me; she’s a woman in the arts I truly admire,” says Sasha of her mom. In an interview with “Vogue”, Lila said, “If I could fit one person in my bag it would probably be my mum, she's fun and good at advice so I could ask her anything.” To Lila, Kate is the fun parent, and judging by her partying record, we can easily believe it. Ironically, when Lila told her she wanted to go into modeling, Kate told her she “wouldn’t recommend it,” but she’s still her biggest supporter.

It seems the French model managed to focus on her career and be an amazing mom, so much so that Lily-Rose calls her her best friend to this day.
Cher and Georgia Holt
She might have risen to fame being half of a duo in the mid-60s, but “Goddess of Pop” Cher achieved a solo career throughout the 70s, 80s, and 90s that was unparalleled. Throughout her stellar career, Cher has always talked about the one person who was always there — her mother, Georgia Holt.
A singer and songwriter herself, Georgia raised her two daughters surrounded by music and understood, to some extent, the wild antics that Cher would get up to growing up. “She would never give us advice; instead, we learned about life by listening to her talk about the things she did wrong and things she did right,” said Cher.
