Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas made it official in 2019 at a secret Las Vegas ceremony. The couple loves to show their adoration on Instagram. Joe loves everything about her. When the “Game of Thrones” actress posted some photography, her hubby had this to say: “Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular.”
For their two-year anniversary, he posted “The best two years of my life. Love you @sopiet,” with a photo of the two at their second wedding ceremony in France. Unfortunately, the two didn't make it in the long run and decided to part ways in 2023.
Denzel Washington
Denzel has made some amazing films, but he is pretty good at marriage too. Pauletta Pearson and Denzel Washington have been married for several decades, first meeting in 1977 on the set of a television movie. He asked her to marry him three times.
The Oscar-winning director has also said that he knows how to be a good husband: “I do what I’m told. I keep my mouth shut.” But really, he says, it is about home and family. Their marriage is greatly admired in Hollywood.
Russell Wilson
Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson, was named NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2021, but he is man-of-the-year, every year, to his singer/songwriter wife Ciara and their three kids.
Just look at what he shared on Instagram with her on her birthday. “My Queen. You are everything a man, husband, lover, friend, dad, a family, and our kids could ever ask for!” And to top it off, he added, “The best thing about you is how you always make our family laugh and smile from ear to ear.”
Nick Jonas
Priyanka Chopra is Nick Jonas’ forever love. He says that, with Priyanka, “It’s just that magical connection you’ve got with somebody when it’s right. We’re lucky.”
Celebrating their wedding anniversary, Jonas posted to Instagram, along with a bridal photo of the two at the altar, “Two years married to the most wonderful, inspiring, and beautiful woman. Happy anniversary @priyankachopra I love you.” They tied the knot in 2018.
Alec Baldwin
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria share six children with over a decade of being together. And they’re still all in on PDAs. Hilaria, a yoga instructor, posted two smooch photos on Instagram. One image includes the text, “Alec wants me to post this,” stamped right across the picture.
The pair has twenty-six years between them. Baldwin was 54 when they married. He joked that he will be 85 when his kids' graduate.
Courtney B. Vance
Courtney Vance knows the secret to a great relationship. He has been married to Angela Bassett for over two decades and he shared his secret with “Us Weekly,” “It’s, yes, dear. How can I help? What do you need me to do?” That was in 2019.
He threw her a huge party with 300 guests for her 60th birthday. Courtney Vance has been nominated for a Tony Award twice. The Harvard and Yale graduate is known across the board in film and television.
Dax Shepard
Dax Shepard loves to pour PDAs all over his wife Kristen Bell. Especially on Instagram. Just a casual day on the town, and he posts a picture saying she “is the reason I wake up every morning.” On her birthday, he oozed, “On this day, many moons ago, the greatest wife, mother (of dragons) and a friend arrived. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my love.”
A heart emoji emphasized his point by replacing the “o” in love with a bright red one. He’s not afraid to get frisky. On her 30th, he wrote, “The world’s most generous, thoughtful, nurturing, talented, determined woman turns thirty sex today!” and he even acknowledged the alleged typo.
Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds used to be married to Scarlett Johansson but we are here to talk about him gushing over his current wife, Blake Lively. At the Met Gala in 2014, his PDA on the red carpet could not be missed with his hand very intentionally placed on her derriere. In an Instagram post, it was placed somewhere else. But it goes deeper.
Reynolds said, “She’s helped me so much in “Deadpool,” all kinds of movies that have been big successes. She’s always got a lot of bricks in that wall.”
Vincent Cassel
Actor Vincent Cassel is married for the second time, but he is absolutely gaga over his bride. The “Black Swan” actor met his princess in Biarritz, France. His wife, Tina Kunakey, is a gorgeous French model. They married in a coastal village in the south of France at the city hall in Bidart, France.
Announcing the wedding plans, Cassel told “The New York Times", that he was a 52 man, marrying a 21-year-old woman and that they were very much in love. Sadly, though, it seems that their love had an expiration date as they called it quits after five years of marriage.
Rob Delaney
Leah Delaney is Rob’s ballast. He has struggled with a drinking problem for a long time. The hardest challenge came when the couple lost their two-year-old son. Throughout it all, Rob says his wife is the greatest love of his life.
“Even though there is drudgery and pain and horror in our marriage—we’ve been together for 11 years—no one else before or since ever violently kidnapped my heart, put it in a dirty bag, and brought it to their lair to own forever.” This kind of dark humor is exactly what landed the “Catastrophe” in “Deadpool 2”.
Kevin Hart
Married to Eniko Parrish, Kevin Hart has proved a loyal and loving man. A 2017 scandal (a year after they married) really forced his hand. By their fifth wedding anniversary, he shared a chic photo of them both on Instagram with a sweet message. He wrote, “Happy anniversary hot momma cheesecake….Love u to the moon and back #Harts.”
The comedian fessed up about straying away from his wife in his Netflix stand-up series, “Don’t F**K It Up.” He even talked to his kids about his mistakes because as he puts it, “It’s going to come out.”
Hugh Jackman
Twenty-five years after Hugh Jackman married his fellow Aussie actress wife Deborra-Lee Furness, he swooned, “From nearly the moment we met… I knew our destiny was to be together. In our 25 years, our love has only grown deeper—the fun, excitement, and adventure more exhilarating; the learning even greater.
I’m forever grateful to share our love, our life—and, our family together. We’ve only just begun. Deb, I love you with all my heart.” He doesn’t shy away from PDAs either. At the 2012 Tony Awards podium, Jackman poured loving words over her and then proved it with a long kiss. Sadly, though they did have one of the longest-running marriages in the entertainment industry, the two announced a separation in 2023.
Justin Bieber
More than your average celebrity wife guy, Justin Bieber gushes over his beautiful wife Hailey. “Life has never made more sense until you became my wife,” is one of his Instagram dotes on her. On her 25th birthday, he showered that praise as well as showing devotion with, “My lips belong to you” and “You are my forever.”
Days after her birthday, the pop music phenom wrote, next to a photoshoot of images of his supermodel wife, “How r u real and why did you decide I was worthy to be your husband I’m shook everyday love u baby.”
Prince Harry
It’s not what Prince Harry says as much as what he does. He divulged his adoration of Meghan at their wedding when he delicately arranged the Duchess’ hair, brushing it from her face. Everyone noticed and the gesture went viral. At an annual charity awards ceremony, Prince Harry broke down in tears talking about Meghan’s pregnancy with Archie.
He said, speaking to the U.K. awards ceremony, “Last year, when my wife and I attended, we knew we were expecting our first child—no one else did at the time, but we did,” and then he teared up, it was an emotional moment.
Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been married since the ‘80s, so long ago most just think of it as a decade from ancient times. They met on the sitcom that launched the budding actor’s career, “Bosom Buddies.” The two hitched for real in 1988 which means they have been married for over three decades.
People ask him how they did it. According to the Gump master, “We learned the secret of happiness with each other a long time ago and that’s always telling the truth.” Adding, “And she makes me laugh harder now than she did in 1986.” Amazing.
George Clooney
George Clooney is a known wife guy. He dotes on Amal all the time. When he did an interview with “GQ,” Clooney talked about how much he admires his wife. That day, as he was sitting down for the Q&A, Amal Clooney was taking a stand against the Brexit deal.
He said, “Like, today she’s in the middle of a sort of standing up against the British government, [submitting a letter of resignation as U.K.’s special envoy] you know, deciding that they’re gonna break international law. So she had to retire as the envoy.”
Mark Ruffalo
Aside from being incredibly handsome and talented, he also adores his wife. "The Hulk" star got married in 2000 to actress Sunrise Coigney.
The couple has been happily married for 22 years and has three children. Mark is like a lovesick puppy, posting adorable photos of him and his wife at every red carpet event . Ruffalo says, “I think of marriage as a garden. You have to tend to it. Respect it, take care of it, feed it." Well, his is clearly growing wonderfully.
Pierce Brosnan
Who would’ve thought that dashing James Bond would be a softy when it comes to his wife? The famous actor from Ireland has been married to Keely Shaye Smith for over two decades. He met Keely, an American journalist in 1994 while traveling through Mexico, and they got married 7 years later.
Brosnan calls Keely his “north star”, and says "I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn't be able to live without. When Keely looks at me, I go weak." How’s that for romance?
Aaron Paul
The "Breaking Bad" star met Lauren Parsekian, the love of his life at a music festival in 2010. Two years later, they got engaged in Paris, and in 2013, they had a huge wedding party in Malibu, complete with a tear-jerking speech and Parsekian’s famous band coming to perform.
Aaron has been gushing about her ever since, once saying in an interview, "Let me tell you, my friend, I will be in the honeymoon phase until I leave this planet. Getting married to Lauren was the greatest accomplishment of my life."
Jamie Dornan
Dornan married Amelia Warner in 2014, and they had a daughter soon after, who was born in Canada during the filming of "50 Shades of Grey."
Not only was Amelia super understanding about this, but she also seemed to have a very lax attitude about her husband filming dozens of nude scenes with another woman while she was 30 weeks pregnant. Once, Jamie was asked about the one thing he couldn’t live without, and he immediately replied, “My wife”, continuing to say, “My wife is a brilliant, hugely understanding person.”
Joel Madden
The lead singer of the famous pop punk band "Good Charlotte" may appear as a hardcore musician in public, but he’s a loving sweetheart when he’s alone with his wife, Nicole Richie. The punk singer married the TV actress and socialite in 2010, but they’d been together for four years before that.
In fact, as the story goes, Madden proposed to Richie ten times before she agreed – “People don’t know this, but I asked her to marry me 10 times before she actually said yes. I was asking every other Tuesday.” Nowadays, they’re madly in love with two children.
Tim McGraw
These two country lovebirds met at a show in Nashville back in 1994, and they were so goo-goo-eyed for each other that they got married two years later. They now have three beautiful daughters, Grace, Maggie, and Audrey.
Through all the ups and downs, Tim McGraw said on TV, “my wedding was the best day of my life… 25 years later and it's still the best day of my life. Thanks for going on this journey with me. I love you, Faith”. Now that’s a true declaration of love if we ever heard one.
Chris O’Donnell
It isn’t too hard to imagine the doe-eyed boy from "Scent of a Woman" as being a real-life romantic, but it seems O’Donnell goes beyond that when it comes to his wife Caroline Fentress. The couple got married in 1997 and have stayed strong and very much in love. As a dad of 4 children, O’Donnell often says he couldn’t do it without “his Caroline.”
We’re sure the fact that she’s an elementary school teacher helps a lot! When asked about their marriage, O’Donnell says, "The first time I kissed her, I was like, Wow. And I still feel that way.”
Bart Freundlich
The gorgeous and talented redhead Juliane Moore met her beau back in 1997, on the set of The Myth of Fingerprints. Bart Freundlich was the director of this 90s drama, and Julianne was the star, and apparently, by the time the movie was in post-production, these two couldn’t be apart. Fast forward over two decades later, and they’re happily married with two beautiful children – Caleb and Liv.
Bart said that sometimes he can’t believe they met over two decades ago, because to him, it feels like yesterday. Julianne has said in interviews that even after all these years, they still manage to prioritize keeping the romance alive.
Steve Carell
Comedy legend Steve Carell has married Nancy in 1995, and they're as strong as ever. The pair met when Carell was teaching an improv class in Chicago, and Nancy was one of his students. Carell has said that it took him some time to build up the courage to ask Nancy out, and good thing he finally did!
Carell said of his wife, "She's beautiful, intelligent and really funny." So what's their secret? You guessed it - laughter. The two share a passion for comedy, and they've been laughing their way through life together since '95.
Ed Burns
The New York-born director, actor, producer, and writer Ed Burns may be known for his serious expressions in press photos, but behind closed doors, he’s anything but. Apparently, Ed is a hopeless romantic with his wife, supermodel Christy Turlington. When they met, Turlington was already a world-famous fashion model, and Burns was a measly production assistant.
When asked how they manage such a romantic marriage and two kids, Burns says they steer clear of Hollywood drama – “We don’t live in Hollywood, and we never go there.”
Jimmy Fallon
King of comedy Jimmy Fallon has had a stellar career, and it seems an even more stellar marriage. The late-night talk show host and former SNL cast member married American film producer Nancy Juvonen in 2007, and they’re just as in love as they were when they met.
The comedians first met on "Saturday Night Live" and then worked together on "Fever Pitch". Fallon has said of his wife, “We really respect each other, and it’s fun all the time! We’re just happy all the time…She’s the love of my life”. Aw, Jimmy!
Mauricio Umansky
High-profile real estate broker, Mauricio Umansky has one of the feistiest wives in showbiz. Mauricio and notorious Beverly Hills Housewife, Kyle Richards, got married back in 1996, and their marriage seems to be stronger than ever.
Even though they’re surrounded by drama and bad relationships (both on the show and in real life), they’ve managed to stay sweet on each other, have three kids, and still be in what appears to be a honeymoon phase. “Twenty-six years in, I couldn’t be more in love with Kyle and our kids,” says Umansky.
Paul Bettany
Paul Bettany could certainly consider himself one of the luckiest men on earth, seeing as he’s married to the stunning Jennifer Connelly. The English actor has been on the silver screen for decades, but one particular film changed the course of his life. In 2001, while playing in "A Beautiful Mind", he met Jennifer.
Two years later, they were married, and things have been amazing ever since. Paul immediately got along with Jennifer’s son Kai, becoming a role model stepfather, and nowadays, the couple has two more children. “I’d never been so close to someone that beautiful before”, Paul recalls thinking when he first met Jennifer.
Peter Sarsgaard
Peter Sarsgaard met Maggie Gyllenhaal at a dinner party in 2001, and as he remembers, “We just immediately hit it off, not just artistically, but in terms of our minds.” That seems to be the case, since the couple wed in 2009 and now have two beautiful daughters, Ramona and Gloria.
Maggie has become an artistic powerhouse in the last few years, and Peter has been right there by her side at every turn. “We’re just made for each other, in every sense of the word,” Peter says of their marriage.
Erwin Bach
The American-Swiss “Queen of Rock & Roll,” Tina Turner, had a stellar career from the 1960s until her last days in 2023. However, throughout her life, she wasn't so lucky in terms of relationships until she met music producer Erwin Bach, that is. After a very tumultuous marriage with Ike Turner, Tina met Erwin in 1985, and they finally married in 2013.
Erwin was crazy about his wife until her last days, saying, “I’ve always been so proud of who Tina is, what she’s accomplished. She was truly one of a kind”. He even donated a kidney to Tina when she started having serious health issues back in 2016. If that’s not true love, we don’t know what is.
Michael Douglas
Apart from a brief separation in 2013, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been one of the most solid and long-lasting marriages in Hollywood. The couple met back in 1998, at a film festival, when their then-couple friends Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith introduced them. Douglas proposed to Zeta-Jones two years after they met, and although they’ve had quite a journey, with Catherine supporting him through cancer, the couple seems stronger than ever.
Recently, Michael posted a very cute picture of him and his wife, captioned, “Catherine, my beautiful wife, I love you now and forever.”
Michael Stern
Michael Stern is the lucky guy who married Lisa Kudrow, and he couldn’t be happier about it. Stern met Lisa in 1987 when he was dating her roommate. Clearly, that didn’t work out, and the couple started going out soon after. In 1995, they got married, and some years later, the French ad executive and the sitcom actress welcomed a son.
Michael has said in interviews that he “loves watching Lisa on re-run episodes of Friends, especially on the most recent reunion episodes…”. Now that sounds like a very fun marriage to us!
Harrison Ford
When Harrison Ford met actress Calista Flockhart back in 2002 at a Golden Globes awards ceremony, he approached her with the same quiet and confident demeanor you would expect his movie characters to. However, it wasn’t so easy for the Hollywood gentleman; as the story goes, he needed help from their friend in common, James Marsden.
Harison said about his wide “I’m in love. Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life."
Kurt Russell
Even though they’re not technically married, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have one of the most romantic love stories in Hollywood history. They first met back in 1968 . At the time, Hawn was 21, and Russell was 16, so nothing could happen. However, they reconnected 15 years later when they worked on set for "Swing Shift."
They started dating on Valentine’s Day of 1983. “I like a million things about Goldie. Always have, always will. She’s irresistible”, says Russell.
Ted Danson
After decades of marriage, A-list celebrities Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen are still madly in love. The couple met back in 1994, while filming "Pontiac Moon", and it took Ted a little over a year to propose to Mary.
In a 2017 interview, Danson said, “I’m madly in love with Mary. She’s a remarkable human being, so I’m just incredibly blessed.” Apparently, Mary feels the same way, and even though they have pretty busy schedules, they manage to make it work.
