Tiger Woods - Golf
Despite all the controversy and disappointment over the past few years, golf forever changed in 1997 when Tiger Woods dismantled Augusta National. Seventy-nine wins on tour, and 14 majors are both good for second all-time, but that doesn’t matter because the man elevated the sport of golf and made it what it is today.
Although he is famous for golfing, womanizer Woods has made his way into the tabloid magazines' dozens of times. Simply put, there will never be another Tiger Woods, as he is more than deserving of his title as the greatest golfer of all-time.
Joe Namath - NFL
Joe Namath, AKA "Broadway Joe," started in the American Football League (AFL) before transitioning into the NFL during the ‘60s and ‘70s. In 1985, Namath was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, an honor he earned with flying colors. His stats included more than 1,850 successful passes, with an average 50% success rate. That’s over 27,663 yards throughout his career - though, it's safe to say that fans tuned into games to see him smile!

The most revolutionary player in the history of the sport, Magic Johnson’s uniqueness will have him at or near the top of these lists for decades to come. With size and vision that the game had never seen before, Johnson took the league by storm, heading the attack for the electric “Showtime” Lakers.
Players like LeBron, Tracy McGrady, Penny Hardaway, and most recently, Giannis Antetokounmpo all resemble bits and pieces of Magic’s style. Still, the league may never see a floor general with Magic's size and leadership again.
Greg Maddux - MLB
Maddux was a dominant pitcher throughout the ’90s, winning four Cy Young Awards in a row from 1991 to 1994. Perhaps even more impressively, Maddux is the most accomplished fielding pitcher in league history.

Additionally, Durant's spider-like wingspan and rare athletic ability have helped him become an outstanding defensive player. This past year, Durant captured his first NBA Championship with the Golden State Warriors. Assuming he wins a few more, there's a real chance he could finish as one of the ten best players of all-time.
Thomas Müller - Soccer
There is one trait in soccer that cannot be taught, and that is the art of scoring goals. Thomas Müller has mastered this trait, as the young German is seemingly always in the right place to help the ball into the back of the net. Müller has won 12 domestic trophies with Bayern Munich, a Champions League, and a World Cup.
His unorthodox style of play may seem weird to many, but it is hard to argue with the results. Müller has scored 157 goals for Bayern Munich and has added another 36 for his country, including five in the 2014 World Cup.
Antoine Griezmann - Soccer
He's young, he's gorgeous, and he's here to stay! Griezmann has come bursting onto the scene, piling up goals in La Liga while helping lead Atlético to the Champions League final a season ago. He has tallied 20 goals in each of the past three seasons and is well on his way to a fourth this year.

Michael Jordan - NBA
Technically, he was nearly flawless. Jordan was an intelligent player that worked hard at his craft, developing perfect footwork and the deadliest fade-away jump-shot in the game’s history. His list of accolades is nearly unparalleled. A five-time MVP, six-time NBA Champion, 14-time All-Star, Defensive Player of the Year, and Slam Dunk Champion, Jordan was an unstoppable force on the hardwood.
Were you expecting anything different from the NBA heartthrob? His Airness reigns supreme over the basketball world and is in contention for the most celebrated athlete (across all sports) of all-time. Equally impressive on the offensive and defensive sides of the floor, Jordan’s sheer dominance throughout the ’90s may never be seen again.

Randy Johnson – MLB
“The Big Unit” seems like a nickname that is hard to live up to, but Randy Johnson at 6ft 8in is more than equal to the task. With a nickname like that, it's hard to take your eyes off of him! Johnson played major league baseball for an astounding 22 seasons on six different teams but mostly for the Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks.
He is famous for being the fifth most successful left-handed baseball player of all time and for having the second-most career strikeouts (4,875) in MLB history.

Isiah Thomas - NBA
The leader of the Bad Boys, Isiah Thomas, always played with a chip on his shoulder. Thomas was lightning quick with the ball and was an excellent shooter from the outside.
However, what he will be most remembered for is his tremendous ability as a leader. One of the original floor generals, Thomas, had an innate ability to know when to get the ball to his teammates versus getting himself going offensively.
Gustavo Kuerten - Tennis

Manuel Neuer - Soccer
Neuer is the only goalie on this list as he is, without a doubt, the best keeper in the world. In 184 league games, Neuer has kept a clean sheet in 101 of them. He had won four Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich, a Champions League, and was awarded the best goalkeeper when Germany won the World Cup in 2014.
Neuer has taken the term “sweeper-keeper” to a new level as he often plays extremely far up the field. His ability to play the ball with his feet makes him a unique talent, but his reflexes in the net are what separate him from the rest.
