Tea is an incredibly common drink. And yes, we are aware of the fact that there are somewhere around hundreds (or more) kinds of tea, and we would never get to cover them all no matter how hard we try. What we can do today, is help you play matchmaker and teach you how to match certain types of tea to what your body needs most at a certain moment.
Having Trouble Sleeping?
If falling asleep is not something that happens to you very easily, consider sipping on a cup of nice chamomile tea before bed. As we all now know, some types of tea also contain caffeine, which isn’t very helpful if you’re trying to fall asleep. Chamomile, however, is not one of them. As a bonus, it will also help your immune system!

Is Your Stomach Bothering You?
If you’re having trouble digesting or if your stomach is generally uneasy for whatever reason, treat yourself to some peppermint tea. The magic ingredient in peppermint that can help your digestive system work better and relieve bloating is called menthol. Peppermint tea also doesn’t contain caffeine, which means it’s safe to drink before bed.
Are the Cramps Coming?
Women whose menstrual cycle is accompanied by cramps might want to try some cinnamon tea as a natural alternative to painkillers. Obviously, the more intense the cramps are the more you might gravitate towards the chemical thing, which is completely understandable. However, if the pain is not that severe, cinnamon tea might help relieve some of it. The cinnamon’s antibacterial and antifungal properties are just a side perk.

So the next time you go to the supermarket, take a few more minutes to browse through the different kinds of tea they have on offer. Maybe even Google some of their properties. It might take a little longer to shop but you will end up with little packets of health that will be tailor-made for you.
