Singer Vic Damone and Italian actress Pier Angeli had an unforgettable honeymoon in Las Vegas after their marriage in 1954, to say the very least. The two actually met through mutual friends, but their relationship really took off after Vic performed “More Than You Know” for Pier at a dinner party.
To celebrate their marriage, the couple jetted off to Las Vegas, where the photo above was taken. Apart from the casinos, the parties, and all the usual attractions, the couple chose Las Vegas because Vic was scheduled to sing at a resort on the same week of the honeymoon.
Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee
Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee were an iconic couple in the 1950s. Bobby was a talented singer with hit tunes, such as “Dream Lover,” and Sandra was a popular actress starring in films like “A Summer Place” and “Gidget.” The two met on the set of “Come September,” and their chemistry was undeniable. They married soon after.

After getting married on June 18th, 1959, the beautiful blonde and the handsome fella left for a small seaside village in France to spend their honeymoon.
